Supplementary animal feed suitable for: Cat, Dog, Rodent, Horse, Pony, BirdComposition: Extracts of chaste tree (Agnus castus) and purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea). Diluted extracts of black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) and lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris). Alcohol 35% v/v.

Properties per ingredient: Chaste tree (Agnus castus) Vitex agnus castus (also called Monk's Pepper) contains antioxidants and flavonoids and ensures hormonal balance. This special property makes it widely applicable for female dogs, cats, and mares. Agnus castus helps with irritability before and mood swings during the cycle.

Purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) Echinacea purpurea is an immunostimulant for reduced resistance.

Black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) a diluted extract of black cohosh is mainly used for prolonged estrus.

Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) It is generally believed that the high concentration of tannins (6-8%) is responsible for its astringent effect. Due to its tannin content, Alchemilla is a suitable uterine tonic.
Dosage and application:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian or therapist.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 4 times daily:

Horse 20 - 30 drops

Dog 10 - 15 drops

Cat 5 - 10 drops

20 drops = approximately 1ml.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take slightly longer.

Administration
Administer this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with some water or milk with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw; check whether the cat licks the drops off its paw.

Advice for use
PUUR Utero is given when uterine contractions and expulsion of uterine contents are desired. To accompany and promote birth, PUUR Utero can be administered three times during labor with an interval of one hour. In case of retained afterbirth, start administering it during labor as well, three times with an interval of 1 hour. After birth, it is recommended to administer PUUR Utero for three days to stimulate uterine cleansing.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administration of this product for a few more days.

For chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be needed; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible level. This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with natural health products and regular medicines.

Contraindications
Not to be used during pregnancy.

Side effects
To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build it up again.
